About the Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is quartz colored a soft pink by trace inclusions that run through the whole crystal. It occurs in solid masses rather than as single points, so a slab reads as a cloudy, even pink instead of a banded pattern.

The pink shifts gently, pale in places and deeper in others, with whitish veils drifting through. It is translucent, so light behind the edge makes the stone glow rather than shine.

How It’s Made

The top is a single slab of rose quartz, ground and polished flat on the face with the outline left as the stone broke, which is why length and width are given as ranges.

The rim is electroformed, metal grown onto the stone in layers until it is thick and permanently bonded. The legs are electroformed metal to match. Rose gold is the closest to the stone, silver cools it, and gold pushes it warmer.

Slight variation in natural stone will occur, and a photograph of the finished table is sent for approval before it ships. Other sizes and shapes can be made to order on request.

Assembly

The legs are removable and ship apart from the top. They thread into the underside, so the table is easily assembled upon delivery and breaks down again if it has to move.
