Large Golden Brown Agate Cheese Platter/Tray 10"x15"

A long serving board at 10"x15", its face built from angular pieces of amber agate fitted together, with a thick metal edge.

The pieces run honey to warm gold, and light gets some way into them, so the face brightens near a window. The joins between pieces show as fine lines.

Using It

Cheese and crackers, charcuterie, fruit, chocolate. Stone stays cool, which helps a soft cheese hold its shape on a warm afternoon. Cut on a separate board rather than on the stone, so a knife does not leave a line in the polish. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Never the dishwasher. The metal edge will not wear through at the corners the way a plated finish does.
