Rose Quartz Slice Cabinet Knobs
About the Rose Quartz
Rose quartz is translucent, and on a small piece that matters more than the color itself. Light enters the stone, scatters inside it and comes back out softened, so a compact knob reads as a lit pink shape rather than a flat pink disc.
The tone stays gentle, usually a pale blush with cloudier patches drifting through. It shows best on a dark cabinet front, where the paleness stands clear of the door.
How It’s Made
The stone is worked to a small round and set on a brass bolt, with a deeper projection than the slice knobs so there is still a full grip on a compact face. Metal is electroformed around the rim: grown onto the stone until it has thickness of its own and is bonded permanently, never a leaf or coating that can rub off. The edge is finished in thick metallic gold.
Details
- Material: natural rose quartz with copper and brass fittings
- Set size: one knob with its bolt
- Diameter: 1" to 1.25"
- Projection: 1.5"
- Bolt: 1.75" brass bolt
- Finish: electroformed gold
Each knob is finished from its own piece of stone, so the outline and the strength of the pink change from one to the next.
Fit and Installation
One of the smaller knobs in the range, which suits a cabinet door, a light drawer or a wardrobe front, and spaces easily along a row. It mounts through a single hole with the 1.75" brass bolt included and no additional hardware. Tighten by hand rather than over-torquing.
Care
Clean with a soft dry cloth only. Household cleaners and abrasive pads take the surface off quartz and haze the gold rim.
