Purple Agate Serving Tray With Brass Loop Handles

A serving tray cut from a single slice of purple agate with the outline left as the stone broke, edged in metal, with a round metal loop handle at each end.

The purple is deep, paler toward the middle where the stone thins. The outline is not cut to a shape, so the metal rim follows every turn of it. The two handles are simple metal loops, set flat against the edge rather than standing up.
