Large Blue Agate Cheese Platter/Tray

A serving board cut from a single slab of blue agate, in Large 11"x7" or Medium 8"x6", with a thick metal edge running all the way round.

The blue is bright, somewhere between azure and cobalt, and scattered across it are pale rings with white centers, like small eyes set into the stone.

Every piece uses natural stone, so slight variation in color, marking, shape and size will occur.

Using It

Cheese and crackers, charcuterie, fruit, chocolate. Stone stays cool, which helps a soft cheese hold its shape on a warm afternoon. Cut on a separate board rather than on the stone, so a knife does not leave a line in the polish. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry it. Never the dishwasher. The metal edge will not wear through at the corners the way a plated finish does.
