Conglomerate Quartz Large Wall/Desk Clock

A larger clock cut from one slab of conglomerate quartz, with the hands mounted straight onto the stone.

The stone keeps the broken outline it was cut with, stepping in and out along every side. Rounded pebbles sit through the stone in browns, creams and pale pinks, held in a paler ground. A thick metal edge is worked round the whole slab. The hands sit near the middle and the face is left plain.

Using It

It sits on the metal stand on a table, a sideboard or a shelf, or hangs from the hook at the back. Dust it with a dry soft cloth and keep water off the stone and the metal.
